Description
I produced this corporate event video for ICW Group, the largest B2B insurance provider in California who also does business in 20+ other states. This video is a mix of footage I shot at the event, stills from the roaming event photographer, and selections from the photo booth.
I animated their event design elements from the invitation and signage (palms, logo, text) and added the surfboard closing graphics. To liven up this montage, I also added 2D motion graphics on top of the footage in various places.
The music editing was very in-depth. With limited “luau” songs available to license, I found a ukulele song in the key of E minor and an upbeat party song in the key of G Major; two keys that play well together. Also the tempos were 80 BPM and 120 BPM, so the math sort of worked well. I added a riser taken from another section of the song and tweaked the processing (audio compression, EQ and sends) to smooth the transition between the two disparate recordings.
